Mason Amelia presents, N5693P, a 1959 Piper Comanche 250**, restored with craftsmanship that rivals a Singer Porsche! The refurb process took nearly a decade and completed by the owner, a life-long aviation maintenance safety professional, to include custom fabricated parts, such as a carbon fiber air scoop, re-engineered flooring and side panels by FAA field approval, and even NASA-produced, custom sewn firewall blanket with flame-resistant certified Velcro... Did we mention modified counterweights in the engine that allow for 2,700 RPM takeoffs at 260 horsepower?

There are well over 50 meticulously documented STCs/speed mods, new glass and lenses, plastics, paint that still looks wet, and the cleanest landing gear & wheel wells I’ve ever seen on any aircraft of any age… just to scratch the surface of this bespoke Comanche!

N5693P was refurbed to show like new in factory spec, appropriate to its year of production but improved upon. Then, the plane spent the next three decades as the family’s heirloom.
